Flash Flood Warning

At 712 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Radar has estimated between 2 and 4 inches of rain having fallen in the area. The heaviest rainfall has moved northeast of the area, with rainfall rates decreased 0.5 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area before coming to and end by 8pm. Several reports of road closures and water rescues have been reported. Flash flooding is ongoing, with rapid rises along streams and small rivers noted.
