* WHERE...Platte River at Sharps Station.
* WHEN...From late Saturday night until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Low-lying rural land along the river begins to flood. At 29.0 feet, Backwater from the Platte River floods Highway KK along the Little Platte River at the location 0.2 miles east of Highway B. At 30.5 feet, Interurban Road floods about 1.5 miles southeast of Sharps Station.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Sunday morning and continue rising to a crest of 28.8 feet Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
