* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Arkansas River at Arkansas City.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural lands can be expected with bank overflows on west side of river. West Chestnut Avenue west of the river floods, expect road closure.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 5.2 feet early Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
