...RISK FOR RAPID FIRE GROWTH AND EXTREME FIRE BEHAVIOR CONTINUES WITH ANY NEW FIRE STARTS TODAY, ESPECIALLY IN TARGETED RED FLAG WARNING AREAS...
Offshore winds are not as strong or widespread as the past couple of days, but will still create a risk for new fires to have rapid growth in wind prone areas of LA/Ventura counties, as very warm and dry conditions persist. While many areas have been cancelled in the Red Flag Warning area, a few targeted Red Flag Warnings persist where offshore winds are expected to remain strongest through this afternoon.
