* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 909 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers and thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain is estimated to have fallen over most of the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area through 11 AM EDT. This additional rain will likely result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mount Sterling, Morehead, Owingsville, Frenchburg, Marshall, Jeffersonville, Camargo, Sharpsburg, Salt Lick, Olympia, Preston, Bourbon Furnace, Crooks, Olympia Springs, Kendall Springs, Peasticks, Craigs, Polksville, Slate Valley and Peeled Oak.
