At 1045 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Williston, or 8 miles north of Harkers Island, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Morehead City, North River, Sealevel, Marshallberg, Smyrna, Atlantic, Davis, Williston, Otway, Open Grounds Farm, Stacy, and Bettie.
