* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, north winds 25 to 30 kt with gusts around 40 kt and seas 8 to 12 ft at 7 to 8 seconds. For the Small Craft Advisory, north winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts around 30 kt and seas 7 to 9 ft at 8 seconds.

* WHERE...Very steep seas and areas of gales south of Gold Beach through Wednesday night. Elsewhere, small craft advisory level conditions are expected.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and very steep seas could capsize or damage vessels. Low visibility conditions are expected.
