The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Western Kimble County in west central Texas... Southeastern Sutton County in west central Texas...

* Until 730 AM CDT.

* At 428 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Roosevelt, Telegraph, I-10 Near The Sutton-Kimble County Line and Cleo.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 427 and 449.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings... US HWY 377 crossing South Llano River, US HWY 377 crossing 2 miles North of Telegraph, RM 2291 crossings along Bear Creek, KC 210 crossing West Bear Creek, CR 150 crossing South Llano River, River Road crossing North Llano River, County Road 260 crossing North Llano River and County Road 275 crossing North Llano River.
