At 311 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Saluda County Airport, or 13 miles west of Batesburg-Leesville, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Batesburg-Leesville, Saluda, Johnston, Ridge Spring, Saluda County Airport, Summit, Monetta, Ward, Saluda Co Sheriff's Office, Fredonia, Murray, Emory, Camp Kinard, Hibernia, Kneece, and Saluda High School.
