Flash Flood Warning

At 848 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rainfall had ended over the Wide Ruins area. However, flash flooding remains a threat from earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Only light additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, and highways.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Klagetoh, Wide Ruins and Antelope Lake.

This includes Highway 191 between mile markers 387 and 397.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Oak Ridge Wash, Bent Knee Wash and Wide Ruin Wash.
