* WHEN...Until 500 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 242 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain due to thunderstorms has resulted in up to 4 inches of rain east of Lexington. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lexington, Thomasville, Linwood and Gordontown.
