Manatee River Near Myakka Head at SR 64 affecting Manatee County.

Little Manatee River At Wimauma at US 301 affecting Hillsborough County.
Withlacoochee At US 41 Dunnellon affecting Marion, Levy and Citrus Counties.
.Due to recent heavy rainfall, water levels on Cypress Creek, Manatee River and Little Manatee River are expected to continue rising and reach Flood Stage.
Elevated water levels continue on the Withlacoochee River at Dunnellon due to a combination of excessive hydrilla growth along a 4.5 mile stretch of river between U.S. 41 and Lake Rousseau, and recent heavy rainfall. Water levels are expected to hold steady before slowly decreasing over the next several days. However, the river is forecast to remain in flood stage.

* WHERE...Manatee River near Myakka Head at SR 64.
* WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Private road and bridge 1 mile downstream flood. Agricultural, rural Kibler area begins to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM EDT Friday the stage was 11.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 AM EDT Friday was 11.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.7 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.7 feet on 08/12/1979. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
