* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 804 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages... Comanche Creek, Spring Branch, East Bijou Creek, Antelope Creek and West Bijou Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of West Central Elbert County.
