* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Cooke County in north central Texas... Grayson County in north central Texas... Montague County in north central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 514 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated very heavy rain due to thunderstorms moving across the area. Radar estimates rainfall rates as high as 4 inches per hour are occurring with these storms. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sherman, Gainesville, Bowie, Whitesboro, Nocona, Denison, Pilot Point, Van Alstyne, Howe, Pottsboro, Collinsville, Whitewright, Muenster, Gunter, Bells, Tom Bean, St. Jo and Lindsay.
