At 1240 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Ar230, or near Hatteras Inlet, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include... Cape Hatteras, Hatteras Village, Monitor Marine Sanctuary, Hatteras Inlet, Ar230, Ar220, Diamond Shoals, Ar225, and Ocracoke.
