At 1240 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Winona to 3 miles southeast of Monument to 4 miles southeast of Grinnell, moving south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

These severe storms will be near... Winona around 1245 AM CDT. Gove around 1255 AM CDT. Russell Springs around 100 AM CDT.
