At 240 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms ending over the warned portion of the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon Burn Scar. From 1 to 2 inches of rain has fallen near the headwaters of area streams. Flash flooding is likely ongoing.
Dangerous runoff is expected to impact Rito San Jose, Sapello River, and especially Manuelitas Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms in and around the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon Burn Scar.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sapello, San Ignacio, Rociada, and Manuelitas.
