.Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall on the upper and middle White will bring minor to possibly moderate flooding to points on the White from Elliston downriver to the confluence with the Wabash. The crest is expected to reach Elliston Thursday into Friday and downriver points thereafter.

* WHERE...White River at Elliston.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday, August 25.

* IMPACTS...At 24.5 feet, North end of runway of Shawnee Airfield begins to flood. High water surrounds river cabins. Extensive agricultural flooding is in progress.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:05 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.9 feet Thursday evening. It will then fall below flood stage Monday, August 24. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
