At 1035 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles southwest of Chewelah, or 42 miles northwest of Spokane, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Stevens County.
This includes U.S. Highway 395 in Washington between mile markers 201 and 204.
