At 1251 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Edgefield, or 19 miles north of Belvedere, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Edgefield, Johnston, Ridge Spring, Edgefield County Airport, Trenton, Ward, Strom Thurmond High School, Harmony, and Edgefield Federal Correction Institution.
