* WHEN...Until 200 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of the Little Colorado River is occurring. Deadly flooding over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1039 AM MST, river gauges along the Little Colorado River have crested into minor flood stages from Woodruff to St Johns this morning from earlier heavy rainfall upstream. Water levels are expected to gradually decrease through the early afternoon. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Little Colorado River.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Woodruff, Hunt and Zion Reservoir. - For Little Colorado River Near Woodruff: At 10:30am the stage was 21.21 feet. Flood Stage is 20.5 feet. Impacts: At 20.5 feet: Bankfull. Portions of residential yards flooded. - Additional information is available at weather.gov/flagstaff.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Stay away or be swept away! The banks of creeks and washes are unstable and unsafe during any flooding event.
Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
