Gila River At Gila River at Duncan affecting Greenlee County.
Gila River Near Gila River near Solomon affecting Graham County.
Gila River Near Gila River at Calva affecting Graham County.
For the Upper Gila...including Gila River at Calva, Gila River at Duncan, Gila River near Solomon, Gila River At Kelvin, San Carlos Reservoir at Coolidge Dam...elevated river levels are forecast.
* WHAT...The Gila River is expected to exceed bankfull levels at 15 feet early this afternoon, reaching a maximum stage of 18.5 feet in the mid-afternoon hours. The stage is expected to remain above bankfull into late afternoon Friday.
* WHERE...Gila River near Gila River at Calva.
* WHEN...Until Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Agricultural fields flooded in bylas and geronimo areas. Portions of highway 70 near bylas threatened. Highway 70 bridge approaches near bylas threatened.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM MST Thursday the stage was 7.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 18.5 feet late this afternoon, slowly lowering Friday and dropping below 15 feet late Friday afternoon. - Action stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
