Turkey Creek Near Wilber affecting Saline County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Turkey Creek near Wilber.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Significant flooding of row crops in the flood plain begins. Downstream of the gage the town of De Witt may start experiencing flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 15.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:45 PM CDT Saturday was 15.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.6 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 12.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.5 feet on 03/04/1979. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
