At 730 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 nm north of Bridgeport to near Port Jefferson Harbor to 6 nm northeast of Buoy 44025, moving east at 30 knots.
