At 1051 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near St. Matthews, or 13 miles north of Brookdale, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... McEntire Air Base, St. Matthews, Eastover, Gadsden, Poinsett State Park, Congaree National Park, Fort Motte, and Wedgewood.
This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 134 and 140.
