* Special Marine Warning for... Neuse and Bay Rivers... Pamlico Sound... S of Cape Hatteras NC to Ocracoke Inlet NC out to 20 NM... S of Ocracoke Inlet NC to Cape Lookout NC out to 20 NM...

* Until 500 PM EDT.

* At 358 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located near The Vicinity Of South River, or 7 nm south of The Mouth Of The Neuse River, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small hail.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include... The Vicinity Of Atlantic, Drum Inlet, The Vicinity Of Adams Creek, Ar275, The Vicinity Of South River, Cedar Island, and The Vicinity Of Cedar Island.
