* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 15 to 30 kt with higher gusts and seas 8 to 13 feet. For the Hurricane Watch, east winds 30 to 45 kt with higher gusts and seas 16 to 21 feet.
* WHERE...Alenuihaha Channel, Big Island Leeward Waters and Big Island Southeast Waters.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM HST Friday. For the Hurricane Watch, beginning 6 AM HST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Extremely strong winds will cause hazardous seas which will likely capsize or damage vessels and severely reduce visibility.
Instructions
Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for extreme conditions before conditions deteriorate further.
