At 549 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near San Luis Obispo, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail, along with periods of heavy rain and frequent lightning. While not immediately likely, there is a low chance of a weak, brief tornado.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
