* Until 1215 PM CDT.
* At 919 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Winona, Goodview, St. Charles, Lewiston, Stockton, Rollingstone, Altura, Wilson, Utica, Minnesota City, Elba, Wyattville, Bethany, Lock And Dam 5 A, Whitman, Lock And Dam 5, County Roads 28 And 31, Witoka and Pickwick.
This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 233 and 269.
