* WHAT...Temperatures from 98 to 103 are expected both today and Friday.

* WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro Area, Northwest Plateau, West Central Highlands, and Espanola Valley.

* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 8 PM MDT this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 8 PM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The hottest temperatures in the low 100s will be across the San Juan and Rio Grande River Valleys. Record high temperatures are expected.
