* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Western Bell County in central Texas... Southern Coryell County in central Texas... Eastern Lampasas County in central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 245 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1140 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen in southern Coryell and western Bell Co. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Killeen, Temple, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Belton, Lampasas, Fort Hood, Nolanville, Morgan's Point Resort, Salado, Kempner, Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Belton Lake, Mother Neff State Park, Union Grove, Ding Dong, Whitson, White Hall, Maxdale and Pidcoke.
