* Flash Flood Warning for... The Paria River in... Coconino County in north central Arizona...

* Until 215 PM MST /315 PM MDT/ Tonight.

* At 617 AM MST /717 AM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Paria Canyon, Paria River Slot Canyon, The Wave, Vermilion Cliffs National Monument and Lees Ferry.

This includes the Colorado River between river miles 0 and 1.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Lee's Ferry Campground, Lees Ferry Campground, Paria Beach Camp Site and Lees Ferry Camp Site.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Paria River, Colorado River and Ferry Swale Canyon.
