...The National Weather Service in Louisville KY has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kentucky...

Green River near Mammoth Cave affecting Edmonson County.

Green River at Woodbury affecting Warren and Butler Counties.

Green River at Rochester affecting Muhlenberg, Ohio and Butler Counties.

.Heavy rain from the past few days has caused the river to rise.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Green River near Mammoth Cave.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Green River Ferry closes to RV and trailer traffic due to high water. Heavy loads will be at the judgment of the ferry operator considering the 12 ton load limit of ferry. Backcountry camping on the Green River floodplain is prohibited. At 20.1 feet, Launching of paddle craft is prohibited. At 32.0 feet, Green River Ferry closes to all traffic due to high water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 26.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 39.3 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 32.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 38.0 feet on 12/19/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
