The environment will remain conducive for periods of showers and thunderstorms through much of Monday, some of which will be capable of producing moderate to heavy rainfall. Training of storms could lead to an additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall causing rapid run-off and flooding of low-water crossings and low-lying areas.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Arizona, including the following areas, in south central Arizona, Gila Bend. In southwest Arizona, Central La Paz and Kofa.
* WHEN...From noon MST today through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
