...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...

Wabash River from Montezuma through Mount Carmel.

White River from Edwardsport through Hazleton.

.Minor flooding continues along the White River from Edwardsport downriver with the crest already past Hazleton. Minor flooding also continues on the Wabash River from Montezuma down to Mount Carmel with the crest approaching Vincennes. Rain amounts with scattered storms Wednesday evening are not expected to impact main stem river levels.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Shortcut (gravel road) to Riverton floods at 20 to 21 feet as Wabash River backs up Turtle Creek a few miles south of Merom.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CDT /8:00 AM EDT/ Tuesday the stage was 21.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 AM CDT /8:00 AM EDT/ Tuesday was 21.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Friday evening and continue falling to 7.8 feet Thursday, September 03. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
