At 807 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Spencer to Sissonville. Movement was southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Clay, Sissonville, Clendenin, Glen, Elkview, Wallback, Amma, Pinch, Tariff, Procious, Walton, Left Hand, Looneyville, Ivydale, and Gandeeville.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 8 and 37. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 115 and 117.
