At 414 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 12 miles northeast of White Sands Missile Range Headquarters, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Orogrande, White Sands National Park, and White Sands Missile Range Headquarters.
This includes the following highways... Highway 70 in New Mexico between mile markers 173 and 197. Highway 54 in New Mexico between mile markers 18 and 49.
