At 553 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 nm southwest of Daytona Beach to 8 nm northwest of Maytown to 14 nm southwest of Rockledge, moving northeast at 15 knots.
