The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Coconino County in north central Arizona... Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 630 AM MST.

* At 329 AM MST, National Weather Service Flagstaff doppler radar indicated a cluster of thunderstorms producing heavy rain from Clarkdale northward into Sycamore Canyon. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Cottonwood Airport, Parsons Spring, Palatki Heritage Site, Sycamore Canyon, Honanki Heritage Site, Secret Mountain Vista, Sycamore Point, Jerome, Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness, Sycamore Canyon Wilderness and Tuzigoot National Monument.

This includes State Route 89A between mile markers 347 and 352.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Taylor Cabin Line Camp, Red-Tail Hawk Loop Campground, Quail Loop Campground, Raven Loop Campground, Blackhawk Loop Campground and Cooper's Hawk Loop Campground.

This includes the following swimming holes... Parsons Spring.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Dry Creek, Sycamore Creek, Spring Creek, Blowout Creek, Tule Tank Wash, Verde River, Oak Wash, Railroad Draw, Oak Creek, Bitter Creek and Coffee Creek.
