...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois...

Wabash River at Covington down to Riverton.

.Minor flooding of lowlands...following widespread one and a half to four inches of rainfall Wednesday and Wednesday night...will continue on the Wabash River from near Covington down to Riverton. The crest will pass Montezuma tonight...and flooding will end at Covington early Saturday.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Covington.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, Some low agricultural fields flood. Backyard flood of cottages a short distance north of U.S. Highway 136. High water blocks land access to at least one residence.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 16.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 PM EDT Friday was 17.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
