At 926 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain has already fallen and another round of intense rainfall is pushing into the area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Binghamton, Johnson City, Montrose, Kirkwood, Conklin, Rush, Coventry, Springville, Hallstead, Windsor, New Milford, Afton, Great Bend, Friendsville, Brackney, Sanitaria Springs, Chenango Bridge, Vestal Center, Harpursville and Nineveh.
