* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Washington County in southeastern Ohio... Tyler County in northern West Virginia... Northeastern Pleasants County in northwestern West Virginia... Northeastern Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia...

* Until 815 PM EDT.

* At 415 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 2.5 inches are possible in the warned area in a short period of time. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... St. Marys, Middlebourne, Paden City, Sistersville, Matamoras, Lowell, Macksburg, Friendly, Lower Salem, New Matamoras, Point Lookout, Arvilla, Wick, Mountain, Alma, Lima and Devola.

This includes Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 6 and 17.
