Flood Advisory

While the heavy rain has mostly ended, heavy rainfall this morning coupled with an additional 1 to 3 inches from this afternoon will keep creeks and streams elevated. Low-water crossings and poor drainage areas may continue to see flooding for the next couple of hours as the water continues to recede.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Indiana, including the following counties, Blackford, Grant, Jay and Wells.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 243 PM EDT, Although the heavy rain has ended, minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen in the last 3 hours on top of the heavy rain that occurred this morning. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
