Flash Flood Warning

At 350 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches, roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Western Castle Rock, Parker, Castle Pines and Perry Park.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Plum Creek, Gove Creek, Newlin Gulch, Watson Park Creek, East Plum Creek, Jackson Creek, Garber Creek, Dry Gulch, Spring Creek, Happy Canyon Creek, Cherry Creek and Bear Creek.
