* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Brunswick County in south central Virginia... Southeastern Dinwiddie County in south central Virginia... Northern Greensville County in southeastern Virginia... West Central Sussex County in southeastern Virginia...

* Until 915 PM EDT.

* At 807 PM EDT, VDOT reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Dinwiddie County. Between 2 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
