At 121 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with torrential rainfall along a line extending from 10 miles northwest of Walhalla to 10 miles south of Clayton to 9 miles northwest of Clarkesville, and moving southeast at 15 mph.
Locations to be impacted include... Clarkesville, Toccoa, Tallulah Falls, Lake Rabun, Lakemont, Tallulah Gorge State Park, Oconee State Park, Mountain Rest, Long Creek, and Batesville.
Very heavy rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.
