.Significant rainfall over the past several days has resulted in widespread minor to moderate flooding along the Wabash River and associated tributaries in north central and western Indiana. Additional rain is possible at times through tonight. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 16.5 feet, On April 28, 2011, a lane located on the west and south side of Wildcat Creek just north of Eisenhower Bridge began to flood. Another foot or two and some homes would have been flooded along this lane.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 16.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM EDT Sunday was 16.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.1 feet this afternoon.
