* Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Broome County in central New York... South Central Chenango County in central New York... Western Susquehanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 130 AM EDT.

* At 1120 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Binghamton, Johnson City, Montrose, Kirkwood, Conklin, Rush, Coventry, Springville, Hallstead, Windsor, New Milford, Afton, Great Bend, Friendsville, Brackney, Sanitaria Springs, Chenango Bridge, Vestal Center, Harpursville and Nineveh.
