Special Weather Statement

At 532 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles west of Fruitland to 18 miles east of Mapleton. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Tabiona, Fruitland, and Strawberry Reservoir.

This includes the following highways... US Route 40 between mile markers 42 and 73. Utah Route 35 between mile markers 41 and 54.
