* WHERE...Styx River near Elsanor.

* WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Major Flood stage. Water is near and under low lying houses on Donovan Circle with the road flooded. Goat Cooper and Waterworld Roads impassable, with major flooding near the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 15.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:00 PM CDT Friday was 15.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.8 feet this evening.
